My suggestions for working your ideas. By Roger J Lown.

Recently, I shuffled through a luggage bag I own that was filled with older writing material. Among the material was an ad for a pickup truck commercial I created. I allow my mind to think and create outside the box, so I don't set limits on writing ideas.

I wrote my pick up truck ad back on Saturday, September 14, 2013, and sent it to a major pick up truck manufacturing company some time soon after I wrote it. Fortunately, I tackled the menace of procrastination by vowing to myself,"As soon as I write, revise, and add common sense and wisdom to my idea, the letter goes in the mailbox ASAP".

My pick up truck ad was rejected by this major automobile manufacturing corporation. How do I handle rejection like this? I don't give up, that's how! I wrote my idea in 2013. The year is now 2018 and our economy is doing very well. But instead of resending my ad idea to that corporation, I'm posting it right here where you can read it and decide for yourself if you would enjoy viewing and ad such as this one. Often a company responds to the customers that request a certain idea be taken into consideration.

Here is my ad idea written generically so that any automobile manufacturing company that builds pick up trucks can consider my idea for a deal:

["The American pick up truck light and heavy duty series. Ready for work and ready for a night on the town.

Pitch: "When I work I work, and when I relax I relax."

First Scene
Man gets out of new dusty dirty pick up truck dressed in work shirt, jeans, work boots, and hard hat.

Man: When I work I work and so does my truck.

Second Scene
Man gets out of the same new pick up truck that is now cleaned and polished. He and his lady are dressed for a night on the town. He opens her door and helps her out of his clean shiny pick up truck.

Final Scene

Man: I want a truck that can work hard and clean up well, that's why I own the American Pick up truck Series."]

I hope that by posting my idea I can help someone with an idea they may have had and gave up on it due to rejection. It does not concern me when my idea will be recognized as long as I don't give up until my idea is recognized, and I have many others. I also suggest viewing your ideas often and revise them for improvement.

Thank you for reading my post and I wish you well in your life pursuits. Write your ideas and never give up on your ideas or yourself because you are awesome!
