Life can be hard, but writing your life can be your passion! By Roger J Lown

Believe it or not, I had been using the old fashion type writer prior to my very first computer. A friend of mine convinced me to attend one of those computer markets where shady vendors sell cheap generic computers. I am mechanical and back then in the late 90's I did not consider myself tech savvy. The computer I chose was not user friendly at all and it is definitely NOT a computer that Steve Jobs, Michale Dell, or Bill Gates would be proud of. But I would soon learn to be somewhat tech savvy. I had been writing true and creative ideas in a notebook. Using a type writer was fun at first but very slow and ancient in these days of ever improving technological advances. I had managed to figure out how to write emails and type my ideas on document applications through this shady market computer. In time my patience would prevail.
On my fortieth birthday I received my first laptop computer, it turned out not only to be user friendly but also writer friendly as well! I began learning my new computer and although I did learn by trial and error on my part, this wonderful portable computer became my writing friend. I recommend these laptops on amazon https://amzn.to/2Hf1a5G. My ability to transform handwriting to computer document and print improved to my satisfaction thus building my confidence.
Some time later I had invested in my first Apple Mac computer http://amzn.to/2Hf7x8Z. My inspiration had been fueled, first by the many writer author friendly option on my then new Mac and by the first phone I made to my self-publishing company. I took the idea of writing and publishing my first book very seriously for the firts time in my life. I also relied on motivational audio and visual media by Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins, Norman Vincent Peale, Brian Tracy, Napolean Hill, Steve Jobs, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, and Steve Harvey. I will list the links to these moving motivators at the end of this post. By listening to these motivators of action I was able to move forward toward being a writer author despite what life had in store for me. We desire to work on our dream. But life happens. Even so, keep moving forward! I had also conquered that poisonous disease that kills our dreams. It is called procrastination and it is one nation I chose not to dwell in. We must work to make our dreams our reality. Along the way you will make mistakes, that's OK, learn from them and keep moving toward your life dreams!
