Believing
you can do whatever you set your mind to because you were born to do great
things in life.
I share my writing experience and suggestions
with you to coach you along as we explore the possibilities of our thinking and
creative mind.
I want you to know that you have the power to
think create and invent and write your life story and ideas on paper because
that’s what our mind our brain is designed to do. I believe children should be
taught that we have a mind and our minds think create and invent, our Creator
designed our minds that way. But in order to use our minds to its full
potential we must understand and accept the latter concept as adults.
For a person who desires to pursue any life ambition,
debilitating beliefs and pessimism are our
kryptonite. Therefore we must program our minds which is the process of
removing these false mind crippling beliefs and program our brain to work for
us because that’s what our brain is designed to do. Despite the toxic messages planted in our young minds by
careless adults we have the power to reprogram and transform our minds into a
powerhouse of thought. When you were a child perhaps someone told you that you can’t
do that which you desire to do in life and you believed that toxic person.
Children believe and trust in adults whether the adult is of healthy behavior
or unhealthy behavior. A child does not understand unhealthy toxic behavior.
The truth of the matter is that God created us with a thinking creating and
inventive mind and if God is for us who can be against us? You are living your
life and you own your dreams. God created us with our thinking and creating
mind and Our Lord said we can do great things. So the fact that our Creator
said it, who is man to say we cant. A “cant do’ state of mind indicates that we’ve
given up and we are inclined to settle for mediocrity and complain about life.
As an author and coach to people who desire to
achieve in their life I see the word “Can” is an action word and one that
promotes the accomplishment of our goals. The word “Can’t” carries a message of
hopelessness and that someone will not at least try to find a solution to a
problem. An athlete gives up in their mind because they believe they can’t
endure the training or wins against a goliath of an opponent. A “cant do’ sate
of mind indicates that we’ve given up and we are inclined to settle for
mediocrity and complain about life.
You do not have to accept the word can’t and the
hopeless message this word brings with it. We would not have communication and
light if the inventors of long ago ceased their experiments at one failure. We
would not have modern cooking and refrigeration if those who invented these
marvels quit and believed in “it can’t be done”. Underdogs in sports would not
be able to win against their unbeatable opponents if they believed it couldn’t
be done. Can do is a mental state of mind and in this state of mind we can
solve problems and get results. With a “can do” state of mind our visions
become reality and athletes win games. Once you accept the truth that you have
a thinking, creating, and inventive mind you will be able to reach out farther
than you ever imagined. Perhaps you have reached a “ceiling” point in your life
where you believe you can’t go any further or reach any higher advances in
life. The truth is your mind is a powerhouse waiting to be tapped into for
successful thinking where you can begin to make improvements in your life.
