The power of our thinking creative inventive mind!

My wife Jayne drew this image free hand of a person with a mind that is full of thought. This image she drew captures what I believe in theory our mind might look like with the thoughts and ideas that abound from it. I believe we can improve our lives by working on the thoughts and ideas generated from our mind. My wife came up with the slogan of our logo for "Your Mind Your Possibilities Go Get It!" and that is, "Get Clicking!"
When I first set my eyes on this drawing and the phrase I exclaimed, "I love it!".
I wish you well on your life goals and dreams. Keep working on your dreams until they happen. Get Clicking!
Thank you for reading.

Dreams are not just about piles of money. They are doing what you love.

Dreams are not just about piles of money. They are doing what you love.

Writing a strategic plan for your goals provides guidance and direction and organization. A plan written with flexibility can help you in moving forward to your accomplishments. If you are thinking you are to old to start a written plan at this stage of your life let me assure you that age does not matter. Your life can improve at any time you just have to decide what your goal is and have the desire to pursue it. The worst-case scenario is not striving for your dream and living with regret. I hope to encourage you to think about what it is in your life you’ve dreamed about accomplishing and achieving and turn your dream into reality. Now achievements don’t always lead us to being surrounded by piles of money. Although if you attain your life ambition it could produce an abundant income. In my viewpoint an achievement is working at something you love doing and most often the rewarding income and appreciation for what you do follows. Your focus should not only be on becoming enormously wealthy. It is more about doing what you have passion for that is both personally fulfilling and rewarding. I believe whatever that advancement is in your life can be achieved through well thought out decisions, proper planning, and taking action.

In summary: Put your passion first, then prosperity will follow.

The following is from page 10 of my ebook "Your Mind Your Possibilities Go Get It!" (available on amazon kindle) By Roger J Lown Writer Author and Speaker of Possibilities.

The term Go-getter describes an ambitious enterprising person. A person who works very hard and who wants very much to succeed is also described as enterprising. From taking out the trash to building projects a go-getter is a person who is a workhorse, dynamo, and a hustler. We don’t sit still, mentally or physically. A go-getter doesn’t simply “wish” our way to success, we work our way to success! We do both physical work as in labor and mental work such as planning, study, writing, and computer tasks. The term go-getter describes an ambitious person. We want something in life and we go after it. I enjoyed the movie “The Pursuit Of Happyness” starring Will Smith who plays Chris Gardner. In one particular scene the father and his son are standing by the fence at the basketball court. The ambitious father looks over at his son and offers inspiring and loving advice to him, “You want something go get it, period!” The movie is a portrayal of an inspirational father who faced a series of heartbreaks and disappointments in his journey of pursuing his dream of becoming a successful stockbroker. As go-getters we put action to our thoughts. We don’t wait for opportunities; we seek them with wisdom and common sense. You want something in life that you enjoy doing while you are also serving others. You go get it!

Hello Musicians and Recording Artists, check out my song "Like a Ten Seventy Five!"

Hello musicians and recording artists. I have written song lyrics that to a family song that may be of interets to those in the music industry seeking a break-out song. Maybe this is the one to help you!
"Like a Ten Seventy Five; like firefighters running to the call I run to give my family my all!"
Here are the song lyrics I composed in both Country-Western style and Rap-Hiphop style:

A song I wrote in both a country music version and a Rap / Hip-Hop version.
During the last weekend in June of twenty fifteen I spent cleaning and organizing my apartment.  It was designated dumpster day weekend at my condo complex. While carting items to the dumpster this rhythm is playing in my head. I wasn’t sure where this rhythm was going so I just went with it. On my second trip to the dumpster I thought about when my daughter calls and asks me to pick her up from her mom’s and spend some time together. That’s when these words came to my mind and I immediately wrote them down; like a 10-75.
A 10-75 is the fire department ten code for a three or four alarm fire, an all hands working fire. This call is usually followed by a second alarm and all available manpower. I continued working on my apartment organization. When I was finished bringing old discarded items I began cleaning and rearranging my apartment and more words were entering my mind for this song. Originally this song came to me with a rap rhythm, which surprised me because honestly I’m not into rap music. However, when I rapped the song to myself it sounded just great and I could imagine people dancing to it in a dance hall or nightclub. If I can create a rap song then maybe I can also write it in a country form as well. So I did! Here is “Like a 10-75” in country, extended country, and rap/ hip-hop version in the following pages:

“Like a 10-75”: Country version.

Tips for writing your ideas by Roger J Lown Writer Author Speaker of Possibilities

Tips for writing your ideas by Roger J Lown Writer Author Speaker of Possibilities

Your mind is capable of producing numerous thoughts and ideas.
Let’s start with one great idea.

First ask yourself a question; what idea or story can I create?
Þ You have just asked you sub-conscious mind a question and in time your mind will produce an answer. It could be during the day or at 3 am in the early morning when you are sound asleep. I’ve had plenty of these awakening! Have a pen or pencil and paper ready to jot down your thought.

The next step is very important. Not every idea you have is a great idea. You see ideas are just like science experiments. You have to test your ideas especially if it is an idea for a product or company. As long as your idea promotes health, well-being and passes the Common Sense test you are good to go to begin taking action on your idea.

About writing your own voice or creative story:
When meeting people and mentioning that I’m an author I usually get this response, “Roger I’d love to write my own book but I’m not a writer “.
Ok let me ask two question, do you text on your phone often and do you often comment on social media? If you answered yes then you are a writer. Why not consider writing your own book and share your experiences of life survival with others?
I published my book Change Your Life Through Writing with Outskirts Press Self-Publishing and I have and continue to have a positive experience with them. Their site is user friendly and the people at Outskirts are encouraging and are able to provide advice and answer most questions. Even if you are not ready to even think about a book I would suggest just giving them a phone call and letting them know that you are interested in writing your own book and have many questions.
The biggest hurdle you need to jump is to believe that you have a thinking creative and inventive mind. We are born with a mind and our mind is designed to think create and invent.

Everything in life requires work. Whatever your passion is in life requires work. But when you enjoy, it does not feel like a burden as when compared to going dragging ourselves into work on a Monday morning.
Take you time and don’t quit. Love what you do and before you know it you will have arrived where you want to be!

So as Yoda says, “Do or Do Not, there is no try”. Believe you can and you will.

I highly recommend this book about the late great Steve Jobs. This book inspired me! Here is the link: http://amzn.to/2wkZ6ar

I am able to relate to the complexities of being creative and different. My thoughts are best explained on paper. There are people, inventors and innovators who have or had a great vision of their ideas. The book "The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs" a biography of the late Steve jobs has inspired me to continuously work on my dreams.
Be who you are. Be different, think outside the box. We are different and our ideas give color and flavor to a world that may not be ready for us but will be glad we pursued our purpose of making lives more bearable.
This book inspired me and maybe it will provide the "lift" you desire in your life.

Change Your Life Through Writing by author Roger J Lown

This is my new book on how writing can change and improve your life. If you are able to text and send emails then you are able to write your ideas and even publish a book! We are born with a thinking creating and inventing mind. It doesn't matter who you are or where you are from. In my book I describe exercises for the mind to help stor our subconscious mind to answer the question we ask of ourselves. Some people call this "talking to yourself' but this method works for me and I believe it will work for you! In addition I have more useful tools to help you get started in writing your ideas and your life story!
Check out my profile on facebook Change Your Life Through Writing by author Roger J Lown, as well as LinkedIn and Twitter under Roger J Lown. I also posted my first youtube video.
